Bridge Near Philippi, WV39 viewsThis bridge was constructed as part of a line relocation in the 1930's when a portion of the B&O from Grafton to Philippi was moved for the construction of a dam on the Tygart Valley River. It's pretty amazing, extending around a graceful arc on columns about 85' high. If I'd stuck around about 20 more minutes, I'd have gotten a train on it... Oh well, now I have a reason to go back!

Headlight wiring20 viewsThe white lead goes directly to the LED, while the blue lead goes to the resistor, then to the LED. I pulled a bit of insulation about 1/2" from the decoder on the blue wire to make that connection, and still have the blue lead to go to the tender for the reverse light.
