Turntable Lighting158 viewsThe brass rod becomes the goose neck. I soldered a short lead from the bulb directly to the brass rod, then ran the other wire down to a hole in the deck next to the post.

Turntable lighting144 viewsYou can see the brass rod running the length of the bridge. There's one on each side to feed power to the lights.

Turntable lighting113 viewsThe brass rod bends at a 90 deg. angle up through the deck to become the lamp post. The resistor for this lamp is located on the side of the bridge. Once painted, it will "disappear" under the walkway.

Turntable lighting141 viewsI decided to use track power to run the lights on the bridge. I used the brass rod to run under the walk boards to the solder blob that connects the factory power connection. These run to the outer edge of the walkboards where they are soldered to the rods that run the length of the bridge. You can also see the mounting of the two side lights on the overhead structure.

Turntable lighting170 viewsHere you can see a close up of the connection of the resistor to the brass rod, and the rod rising through the deck to make a lamp post.
