Life Like FA-2/FB-2 $45 for A&B +S&H
Precision milling, accurate wiring, and careful re-assembly assures that your locomotive's shell sits squarely and securely on the frame, and the drive operates as smoothly as when we receive it. We also check the wheel gauge and coupler height and make any adjustments necessary to make sure your engines are ready to roll when you are.
Return Shipping
We carefully re-package your locomotives and send up to three back to you via USPS Priority Mail. Return shipping is actual cost plus $2 for handling regardless of the number of units shipped. Insurance, if desired, is extra, and charged at actual cost.

Any Atlas, Kato, Life Like or Intermountain with a self contained drop in decoder (to replace the factory light board) can be converted for only $7.50 each. You supply the decoder plus standard return shipping and handling.

We'll mill your frame and install your supplied decoder. Average turn around time is 2 weeks.
We test run your engines to make sure they operate smoothly and reliably before we send them back to your layout. I've been tinkering with N scale locomotives for almost 30 years, and installing decoders for the last 5. We re-install the existing lighting wherever possible. Contact us if you would like a lighting upgrade to bright white LED's or any other customizing.

Spectrum Steam (Consolidation, Light Mountain, Heavy Mountain)
